Dear Family and Friends,

I created a fundraising page to help support the St. George Theatre Restoration Inc., a non-profit organization in Staten Island, NY. Every year, I have a starring role in their annual Christmas Show and I ask all of you to support this organization by coming to see the show. This year is different due to the pandemic. The show must go on, and it will…virtually! The show will be made available for the community to enjoy, starting on December 6^th at 7:00pm, and throughout the month on the St. George Theatre website. The theater is starting a campaign to help raise funds as it usually does this time of year!

Because of you, we'll be able to support our beloved St. George Theatre through its closure and continue our mission of restoration and development as a performing arts center. Throughout this year, the St. George Theatre adapted to the NEW world of virtual programming and found creative ways to use our venue to stay connected with our patrons, such as:

• Forever Ticket campaign, where over 500 Forever Ticket holders pledged their promise to use their Forever Ticket toward a future show ticket purchase;
• A free, virtual Summer Outreach Dance and Theatre program, as well as Career Paths in the Arts program that kept over 150 students ages 9-18 engaged in the arts;
• A free, virtual Arts-in-Education Series for teachers across New York City and around the country that has already reached over 3,000 students;
• "Let's Hang On" St. George Theatre Telethon, where we presented a collage of performances by local and national artists;
• Flashback Friday Concert Series, highlighting classic performances from our favorite headline artists;
• Duets: Local Artist Spotlight Series, featuring two local artists designed to shine a spotlight on their talents while also assisting our patrons in discovering new music;
• Our first ever St. George Theatre Virtual Gift Shop, where you can buy St. George Theatre merchandise to show your support;
• Photography Sessions, where you had the opportunity to create memories of a lifetime with a St. George Theatre backdrop;
• Virtual Visits with Santa Claus, where your family can e-meet and chat with Santa via Zoom

As long as the pandemic keeps our doors shuttered, the St. George Theatre will expand our boundaries through virtual community outreach, educational programs, and streamed performances to keep us all connected through the arts!
